League of Legends(LOL), sometimes referred to as League, is a MOBA game developed and published by Riot Games in 2009. MOBA game means multiplayer online battle arena game. There are many different game modes in LOL. Summoner’s Rift is the most classic one. In this game mode, there are two teams of five players fighting each other. The team which destroy the opposing team’s “Nexus” is the winner. The ten players can each control a character with unique abilities to fight. Character designs and background stories of them are very attracting.
League of Legends has been popular for over a decade. Though there has been much negative and abusive in-game behavior in the game for a long time, many players are still keen on this game. League of Legends is one of the largest e-sports events in the world and is called its “main attraction” by the New York Times.
