ZHU Jiang is born and raised in Jiangsu and now she is a Master of Journalism student at JMSC, the University of Hong Kong.

During her undergraduate studies, she hold the position of Leader of the Academic Department, in charge of organizing various academic activities that involve script writing, photo shooting, editing and publishing. Besides, she led the publishing of a campus news column that focused on the most pressing issues on campus such us the safety of on-campus drinking water, the placement of shared bicycles in the school and the installation of entrance guards. All these experiences gave her a great opportunity to accumulate on-the-ground journalistic experience.

As for the internship experience, she has interned in Suqian Broadcasting Cooperation and Longhoo Net from Nanjing Press Group. During her internship with the Longhoo Net, she has published 26 articles in four months and has assisted in the maintenance of the news website and WeChat public platform operation.

After all these academic and working experiences, she thought she still needed more practical skills to become a qualified journalist, so she applied for the MJ program of HKU, wishing to have a better comprehensive outlook with rational thinking and to quickly improve journalism attainment in various complicated events. She is confident that her postgraduate study in Hong Kong will give her the best chance to achieve her potential and lead the way forward to a pioneering career in the booming media industry.
